Recommended Testing Tips
Unfortunately, masks may effect the captured vocal pattern and are discouraged for testing accuracy. For this reason, VIPRE recommends:
- Maintaining a 6ft (2m) social distance during tests (the VIPRE mic cord length is adequate).
- Using a barrier, such as plexiglass, or a thick, clear plastic sheet as a divider between examiner and subject.
Using Clorox, Lysol or other disinfectant to clean between tests (including on lanyard and mic) prior to use.
PLEASE NOTE: Never use chemicals on a computer screen. Use only a damp cloth with water and a very small amount of soap, if necessary.
